Our History

The Rio Scenarium – Pavilhão da Cultura opened its doors in 1999 as an antique dealer specializing in locations for film and novel scenarios due to the vast collection of furniture and antique. In 2001, it became a Brazilian venue of music concerts, resuming an old vocation, because in the past, the place housed a famous gafieira called Clube Humaitá de Dança, managed by an association of ex-Navy employees. On the wall there was a large panel honoring the singer Emilinha Borba, who was the patron of the place.

Rio Scenarium is today the best known Brazilian music house, and provides a unique experience for its decoration, distributed in 8 different environments, where the client can experience music, dance, gastronomy, history, and Brazilian Culture.
